Jonava Adult Education Centre offers both formal and non-formal education; in addition, it contains In-Service Teacher Training Department.  The majority of students are involved in formal education sector , which includes primary, basic and  secondary general education.

Students are allowed to choose one of the following modes of attendance: full time studies, extramural studies, modular teaching, or independent learning. Non-formal education is organized according to a variety of programmes geared to satisfy individual education needs.  

The main aim of the In-Service Teacher Training Department is to provide opportunities for the professional development of all educators in the Jonava district, encourage their creativity and innovative initiatives.
